OBJECTIFIED by Gary Mustwit (of Helvetica)

COPY PASTE:  Objectified is a feature-length documentary about our complex relationship with manufactured objects and, by extension, the people who design them. It’s a look at the creativity at work behind everything from toothbrushes to tech gadgets. It’s about the designers who re-examine, re-evaluate and re-invent our manufactured environment on a daily basis. It’s about personal expression, identity, consumerism, and sustainabilit.  I just saw this film and was totally absorbed by it and the thought process that goes into objects, consumers, the value of the things we surround ourselves with.  You have to watch this film it is totally in line with what you admire and contemplate in the design world.    OBJECTIFIED

  1. I just finished watching it! This is a great documentary... I actually took notes while watching it. Wow...so excited and happy to have watched it: I feel really inspired! There are some quotes that I would actually put together to start my own manifesto, or in a more personal way: my idea of design, or more simply, designs i love. Thanks Taylor!
