DOT lamp
This is the lamp I designed for my last course at university. DOT lamp can be recharged with sun light by sticking the lamp to the window with the suction pump on the back of it. The battery gets energy from the sun and can be used at night as a spotlight which can be used as a bedside lamp, a spotlight, or just a soft ambient light. DOT lamp was conceived by thinking a 2020 scenarrium: a new nomadic population that doesn't what to buy forniture because they will be travelling more and more, smeller houses and energy saving consciousness. The house cannot waste energy anymore: we will need self-sufficient objects by using alternative energies. DOT is a futuristic concept of a new domestic lamp which can be brought around the house with no energy loss.
