This month I have been working hard in my studio because of the Milan Design Week and this last week I have been showing our new products to the public. A couple of days ago Gabriella and Mattias, the founders of TAF, came in and it was a great pleasure to welcome them inside our exhibition. Stockholm based, ''TAF's studio is located in a converted bakery that used to serve the neighbourhood. There is a nice twist to this, as TAF aims to fulfil a similar function as the bakery through its design – one where design isn't seen as superfluous but integrated into society on all levels, like the daily loaf of bread.'' (from their website) I really like their work and the contemporary use of wood. Simple and functional, TAF's products are some good examples of great design that can give a twist to a house without being uncomfortably intrusive.
